Nanaimo is a harbour city with a unique and beautiful local environment, and these animals are important representatives of our ecosystem. We often see wildlife as separate from ourselves, but in truth we’re connected by our everyday lives and our outdoor lifestyles. From the sky, to the sea, to the waterfront walkway, we must take the time to truly see and appreciate what we have here.
