Ceramic Zeotrope (W/Animation)

A ceramic zeotrope I made that uses a set of interchangeable tiles. The tiles are held in place via velcro strips I glued on both the tiles and the zeotrope. A lot of inspiration for the character was pulled from animation styles hearkening back to the golden age of animation (1928-1969).
The theme of the art work is cyclical; the character is a ceramist, the ceramic zeotrope is designed to fit on a wheel, and the wheel is used to run the animation. Ideally the viewer should be able to view the animation from the seat, but that doesn’t actually work.
